In today’s tough financial climate, most traditional sources of capital are not available, which is the perfect time for new capital to seize the opportunity. Yes, new capital is more expensive and often asks for personal guarantees at this time of the cycle, but new capital is often better than no capital, and these capital sources are likely to lower their return and recourse requirements as the housing market improves and they face more competition.
Working with the NAHB, we are sponsoring a new area at the International Builder’s Show next week, called the Partnership Pavilion. It is an area where capital sources and companies that help builders find capital will be meeting with builders to help them fund their businesses going forward.
NAHB member builders and capital providers can register at the Pavilion, and we will do our best to make introductions during and after the show. If you won’t be at the show, click here to provide us with some information about your company so we can help facilitate introductions.
When you stop by to see us at the Partnership Pavilion January 19-22, 2010 you can also sign up for a complimentary copy of our latest market analysis for your market, and enter a drawing for Google’s new Nexus One super-smart phone!
